ENGLAND.', the nocks form with fine acanthus scrollwork, the receiver (with thumb cutout) mounted with a Swarovski Habicht 6x42 Nova telescopic sight, serial no. 645052, in quickly-detachable mounts, the receiver ring with fine acanthus scroll engraving, the side wall with 'CAL 7MM MAUSER', fluted butterknife bolt handle, double set triggers, detachable floorplate with military style release and engraved with fine acanthus work around a central red deer portrait, signed 'J.G. SALT', well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, raised comb, sling swivels, 14 3/4in. pull including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 11oz. (unscoped) and 9lb. 2oz. (with scope)
